Briane Hogeveen is our Area Director in the Central Okanagan. She has been involved leading in Young for 6 years in 2023. She first started as a middle schooler in Vernon for WyldLife and become a leader when she graduated high school. 

She says that the reason she is on staff is:

“In a world that claims to be more connected then ever, teens are experiencing an epidemic of disconnection from meaningful relationships with friends, family, God, and themselves. The impact of this disconnection is devastating and the brokenness that kids are experiencing leaves holes in their lives. It is my desire that through Young Life, we can love these hurting teenagers.”  

Her favourite Young Life goes all the way back to when she got to experience RockRidge Canyon for the first time as a 14 year old teen with her best friend. 

We are so blessed to have Briane as our Area Director here in the Central Okanagan and know that she will continue to carry forward the mission of Young Life for the future.
